It is recommended to use Carpet mode only when clean carpet and Auto or Floor mode on floor. When cleaning hard floor, if you want longest working time, we recommend Floor mode, if you want better cleaning efficiency then we recommend Auto mode as in this mode the vacuum power will adjust automatically basing on floor cleaness.
